In high school, I was part of my high school’s Student Engineering Academy (SIA). As part of this cooperation model between school, university and industry, I learned about many aspects of engineering. We visited different companies and were taught disciplines such as programming, design, and electronics based on a central task.

The central task was to develop a robot that would find a candle in a maze, extinguish it and then drive out again.

The experience I have gained here is invaluable and I would like every interested student to have the opportunity to be involved in such a project.
